Senior homeowners, Howard and Helen both in their
early 80s, have lived in their home on the Peninsula for over 30 years. They had

Counselor met Howard and Helen at their home to provide objective counseling
regarding their options. HIP Housing helped them assess
their goals and options as well as providing them with additional community resources
to help meet their needs. After the counseling session, Howard and Helen pursued a
Reverse Mortgage. The extra income has helped them with unexpected expenses after an
emergency situation they faced recently.
