This year, we celebrated HIP Housing’s 50th anniversary in style with our most ambitious annual event EVER!
Thank you to everyone who came along and supported us.

Here’s Shelley Pavela, President of HIP Housing’s Board of Directors, with a proclamation honoring HIP Housing’s 50-year milestone presented by Assemblymember Kevin Mullin. What a fantastic moment!

HIP Housing’s remarkable founder, Lois Almen Everett, and former agency Associate Director, Jolly Perkocha, were present at the event and honored in a heartwarming video tribute. Also featuring long-time HIP Housing supporter and Honorary Board Member, Congresswoman Jackie Speier, this is a video not to be missed!

100% of donations raised from HIP Housing’s “Cheers to 50 Years!” event will go directly to our innovative programs, allowing our staff to assist thousands of San Mateo County residents who, just like Maria, are looking for a safe, stable, and affordable home. A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Fund-a-Need, live auction and/or donated in support of our work. Every contribution, no matter the size, is always greatly appreciated!
